Staincross Rangers

Why Volunteer?

Staincross Rangers JFC relies entirely on the dedication of volunteers. From the coaches on the sideline to the committee members behind the scenes, everyone plays a vital role in giving local children the chance to play. Volunteering isn't just about giving time; it's about gaining new skills, building friendships, and watching young players grow in confidence. You don't need to be a football expert to make a huge difference.

Fully Funded Training & Support

We believe that to develop great players, we need to support our volunteers. That's why the club covers the cost of all essential FA qualifications and checks.

DBS & Safeguarding

The safety of our players is paramount. We organise and pay for your enhanced DBS check and the FA Safeguarding Children course, ensuring you are cleared and confident to work with youth players.

FA Coaching Badges

We fund your journey. This includes the Introduction to Coaching Football (I2CF) course, which replaced the old Level 1. It covers planning sessions, match days, and player welfare.

First Aid & Mentoring

We cover the Introduction to First Aid in Football. Plus, we provide support from our experienced coaches every step of the way, so you're never thrown in at the deep end alone.
