Play Phase

Our youngest teams, from U6 to U8, are introduced to football in a fun and supportive environment. The emphasis is on developing basic football skills such as dribbling, passing, and working together as a team. These sessions are designed to be enjoyable and creative, allowing children to build confidence and fall in love with the game. There is no competitive football at this stage; the focus is entirely on fostering a positive introduction to football and laying the foundation for future growth in a safe, friendly atmosphere.

Foundation Phase

In the Foundation Phase, covering U9 to U12, players build on their core football skills with a more structured approach to coaching. They begin to learn about different positions, tactics, and decision-making, with an emphasis on personal development rather than results. Although competitive football starts at U12, younger age groups still focus on enjoyment and skill-building. This phase helps players improve at their own pace, encouraging teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong love of football while preparing them for the demands of competitive matches.

Development Phase

The Development Phase, from U13 to U16, is where players start to engage in more competitive football. Coaching becomes more focused on developing tactical awareness, technical ability, and physical fitness. Players are introduced to more advanced strategies and match preparation, as well as leadership and responsibility both on and off the pitch. This phase is designed to help players grow into well-rounded footballers, equipping them with the skills, mindset, and understanding needed to succeed in competitive football and beyond. Teamwork, discipline, and individual growth are key elements of this stage.
